Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 was launched yesterday amidst much pomp and pageantry. Asides the hype that had accompanied the run up to its release‎, it sure comes to the party as far as its features are concerned. But how does it stack up against its predecessor – the Galaxy Note 5?

Verdict:

Well, though expected, the Galaxy Note 7 actually confirms it’s definitely an upgrade over the Note 5 and so definitely wins the round. It edges out the Note 5 on the grounds of its wider screen ratio, better camera, better CPU, improved base ROM of 64GB compared to the base ROM of 32GB of the Note 5, the additional biometric Iris scanner and better battery performance.

Where the Note 5 still holds its forte‎ is its relatively slimmer build compared to the Note 7 and it’s affordable pricing.
