Chinese OEM, LeEco, has been in the news lately and for good reasons as its finally unveiled the “Cool 1 Dual” phone it’s been teasing over the past few weeks.
The “Cool 1 Dual” is an all-metal clad phone which features a 5.5in IPS LCD 1080x1920p screen @401ppi, an Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 CPU with maximum speed clocking in at 1.8GHz, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB ROM with no means of expansion via a microSD slot.
In the camera end, we see LeEco tow the same line of the Huawei P9 phones, with two 13MP main cameras on the back. Accompanying this would be a set of dual tone LED flash, while an 8MP selfie shooter makes it upfront. We also have a fingerprint scanner at the rear end with a non-removable 4060mAh battery keeping the lights on. The Cool 1 Dual would run on Android OS 6.0.
Expected to launch in China on the 26th of August, the prices have been set as follows – 3GB/32GB – $166, 4GB/32GB – $226 & the 4GB/64GB – $257.
